Mission Check In - JANUARY 2025
We’ve been receiving many kudos & requests from individuals interested in helping the MAMSN resources, so in an effort to show our gratitude & also bring awareness to what individuals can do to help our cause, we are sharing the following suggestions to help those who are interested in furthering the Model Safety cause.
First & most foremost, Model Safety STARTS with YOU! The way you interact with & treat your peers in this industry matters! We encourage all community members to lead by example & help to create a safe & respectful community environment by championing professionalism, showing consideration for their peers, encouraging open dialogues & 100% transparency.
Second, your local modeling community & the Models that work within it, NEED your support, experience & wisdom in order to keep them safe! By welcoming modeling hopefuls & new Models with open arms, to networking & building professional relationships with your industry peers, you can help to create the framework for the professional networks & support systems that assist our Model Safety leadership & community to reach & help protect ALL Models.
Lastly, our resources are a tool that is designed to be constantly evolving, open to feedback & strive for continuous improvement. When Models of different backgrounds, experience levels & those who work within all the different modeling genres reach out to us & share their wisdom & stories, they can help to inspire the critical conversations around Model Safety, advocacy & most importantly, help the MAMSN create content that includes the most current & comprehensive resources we can share in order to help educate models on the dangers of the industry.
As a reminder, the MAMSN is not-for-profit, catering to an audience that is considered niche & provides our Model Safety resources free of charge. We also do not accept paid sponsorships or pay for advertising, so your support is so incredibly valuable to us & we appreciate everybody who has interacted with or shared our content, further helping us reach our intended audience.
Models, Do you have a Model Safety related story or experience you'd be willing to share?
You can help others by submitting your safety methods, tips, resources or by sharing your personal experiences* around Model Safety with the MAMSN in order to help educate other models in the community.
*Submissions will only be shared with express permission & may be edited to help protect the privacy of all individuals involved.
